Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, simply abbreviated as Allah (swt.), as deciphered by Mr. Mussolini Lidasan, from the facade logo of Kiram Mansion.
Mr. Lidasan, incumbent executive director of the Al Qalam Institute of Islamic Identities and Dialogue in Southeast Asia at Ateneo de Davao University, replied through twitter of what he thinks resembles the logo of the Kiram Mansion.
The meaning of the symbol is said to be mentioned in Islamic texts – Qur’an and Hadith.
THE MEANING
According to Mr. Lidasan, the symbol means “ALLAH THE MOST GLORIFIED, THE MOST HIGH.”
Strategically located on the facade of the Kiram Mansion, the symbol emphasizes the Muslim adherence of the owner – a Maranao Prince.
The physical structure of Kiram Mansion is continually deteriorating, at least this post endeavours to record and safeguard the few remaining facets of its heritage.

As part of the annual Plant Tour of the Ateneo Society of Industrial Engineering Students, TOSHIBA took its share in imparting business principles including but not limited to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). TOSHIBA practices the preservation of the environment for a sustainable future. They stand true to this principle even just in their company environs.
TOSHIBA records the plants and animals in their company area. Furthermore, TOSHIBA takes further steps in distributing to its visitors some firetree seeds. The firetree seeds were given to the visitors (students and teachers) to ripple their advocacy of sustainable development. The distribution of seeds is also in congruence with the enlisting of names of the adopted plant-growers as well as the places from where they hail, on the designated form.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – the operation of a business with due consideration to social and environmental impacts of the business – remains to take the limelight of the simple and utilitarian ideology of operation for profit into a more engaging ideology of operation for profit and purpose.
Although the species of firetrees tend to be invasive, it somehow helped the riverside of our farm in the past few years. This is one of the fast-growing species that I have been interested in studying for agro-industrial uses.
